A Man Called Otto (2022): English-language remake of the 2015 Swedish film "A Man Called Uve," this time with Tom Hanks. Local curmudgeon and how he became one. He eventually becomes, not likable, but a little less unlikable. B-
I thought the Swedish version of the movie was better but liked both. Richardson Reads One Book came very close to having the story’s author, Backman, as our author one year. He was having some health issues and his doctor had advised him not to travel. However he said he was a big Cowboys fan and if we could get him a ticket to a game then he would ignore his doctor. It couldn’t be worked out - don’t think the Cowboys schedule matched up with our RROB schedule.
