I've been sued enough times, that it doesn't bother me, but I'm sure for them it can be rattling. From my personal experience, Judges really don't like to overturn the will of the people, i.e. elected officials such as board members. They realize they are laypeople doing what they can to help, serve, and lead. Lawsuit looks weak, and contrived. Fairly common tactic for slime ball lawyers (redundant) to throw mud on he wall and see if it sticks.
